Targeted Trusting

In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? Psalm 56:4

Is your view of God colored by your circumstances?

Do you praise Him in the raindrops or just in the sunshine?

Do you trust Him only when smoothly sailing through life or do you trust Him still when your path remains dark?

Do you acknowledge His sovereignty when your plans fall apart?

Do you obey Him even when you feel lost?

Jesus kept trusting in His Father’s plan when questioned by Jewish leaders.

He was faithful while tempted by Satan during 40 days in the desert.

He kept pouring into his disciples, even when their focus was earthly.

He chose Judas, knowing the impending future betrayal.

Jesus trusted His Father, for everything.

Every decision, every moment, every breath.

We should follow His example

Our faith in God should not waiver, no matter the comfort or stress.

Rain or shine, I will trust You.

Snow or hail, I will trust You.

Map or no map, I will trust You.

In turmoil or peace, I chose to trust You.

We trust God simply because He is God and we are not.

He holds our future.

He wants our best.

But only if we surrender and trust Him, even when the winds of life change.
