No Match for God

For whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and He knows everything. 1 John 3:20

Ever realized something about fear?

When fear speaks into your life, it’s about the present.

Your current circumstances.

It fills you up with worry about what may happen when presented with your current situation.

Except it’s so sneaky, you begin to think fear can perfectly predict your future.

I know because we listen. We listen so well, we believe it.

We believe the lies of fear.

Why does the devil try to wrap you up in fear about your future?

Because the devil, who is fear, doesn’t know your future.

He likes to predict it for you, but he has no clue.

The future fears you dwell upon are simply fiction.

Made up to scare you.

Paralyze you from acting on the will of God over your life.

But you know what is absolutely real and complete truth?

God’s promises for you.

He knows the beginning from the end and God’s promises to you will not return void.

When God tells you in Isaiah 41:10 NOT to fear and He is WITH us, holding us up with His right hand, you can believe it.

Because He said it, He will do it.

Or in Jeremiah 29:11, God tells us He KNOWS the plans He has for us. And they are very good, FULL of hope and promise, not harm.

That flies in the face of fear’s lies, does it not?

Finally, God promises to NEVER ever leave us. Deuteronomy 31:8 also reminds us God will not forsake us.

God is with us always and He’s not turning His back.

So when fear whispers into your ear, turn your head towards the promises of God.

Fear is full of lies, and God is full of truth.

Fear plays to your weakness and God is your strength.

When we are weak, He is strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

Thank you, God, for being our strength.

Fear, your lies have zero chance anymore.

Holding Onto What?

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

What are you holding onto that is keeping you from the promises of God?

What are you keeping closer to your heart than God?

God’s promises are for you.

You. His beloved.

But only when you surrender everything.

Everything you hold dear and everything you hold in place of God Almighty.

So, I ask you again. What are you holding onto that is keeping you from God’s promises?

Are your spouses actions or inactions causing you to resist God’s promises?

Are your children’s attitudes or flaws causing you to stay within yourself?

Are your flaws and failures causing you to calculate without God?

God’s promises for blessings require your dedication to Him.

To Him and Him alone. God, that is.

When your spouse repeatedly disappoints you, should that matter?

When your children fail you, does that reflect your parenting?

When you succumb again to your temptations, do you stay stuck within yourself?

Keep pursuing what God has for you.

Keep placing your trust into His hands.

Keep surrendering your life to Him.

As you repent and place yourself at His feet, His promises will be yours.

All He wants is you.

All of you.

Even the dark parts.

Let Him make everything new.

Determine to make this new year God’s and God’s alone.

God’s Faithful Path

All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. Psalm 25:10

When you keep walking on the path God has for you, you will experience His love and faithfulness.

No, it won’t always be easy, but you will stay within Him.

You will walk in His love, which is God Himself.

God is always faithful to those who keep His covenant.

To those who keep His commandments, His word.

And when you obey Him, you will stay within His love and faithfulness.

There is nothing better then experiencing God’s love.

His love is perfect.

All encompassing.

All knowing.

His faithfulness reminds you He is always with you.

HIs promises are true.

God’s faithfulness to you is a beacon of hope.

A promise of future security.

A secure dwelling place.

When you choose to walk with God, He will be your faithful friend.

Your heart will be filled with His love.

Your blanks will be filled with Him.

But only when you choose to follow Him, walking hand in hand down His path.

What is stopping you?

Selfish desires?

Do you not know God has your very best interest at heart?

Seek Him with all you have.

Ask Him to fill you with HIs very self.

And in return, you will be reminded of His faithfulness and love for you.

As you keep His covenant, you will be a testimony to God Himself.

What an absolute honor.

Am I right?

God doesn’t need you to fulfill His plan.

But He wants you to join Him.

Take it in all humility, and watch Him work through you.

Become His vessel through which His love and faithfulness is revealed to the world.

Through this choice, you will keep His covenant, showing the world His testimony through you.

What an honor.
